Terms of use

Cook everything here. Publish the photographs of what you cooked. Do not lift the studio's own images.

Version 4.0 · in force from 18 August 2026

The agreement

By using atelierplate.site you accept these terms. They are between you and AtelierPlate SAS, Studio no. 4, 18 Rue des Capucins, 69001 Lyon, France. If we change them materially we will change the version number above and note the change in the next weekly email.

Recipes and your kitchen

Every recipe is free to read and free to cook, at home or in a professional kitchen, without attribution and without asking. That includes cooking a published dish for paying guests in your own restaurant. Recipes as written instructions are not protectable in most jurisdictions, and we have no interest in pretending otherwise.

What you may reuse

  • Freely: the ingredient lists, quantities, and method steps, retyped in your own words.
  • With a link: a single recipe reproduced in full on a personal blog or newsletter, with a link back to the source page.
  • With written permission: anything reproduced in a printed book, a paid publication, a training programme, or a machine-learning dataset. Write to [email protected].
  • Not at all: bulk scraping, republishing the archive, or wrapping our content in an app.

Photography and diagrams

The photographs, plating diagrams, palette swatches, wordmark and typographic treatment are the studio's own work and are not covered by the recipe licence above. Do not repost the images without credit and a link, and do not use them in advertising, on packaging, or to train an image model.

If you cook a dish from the archive and photograph your own plate, that photograph is yours. Post it wherever you like. We would rather see it than not, and tagging the studio is welcome but never required.

The studio list

Subscribing to The Monday Plate requires a working email address and nothing else. One click unsubscribes. We may remove an address that bounces four times in a row, or that reports our email as spam, and we will not ask you to confirm that removal.

Workshops and refunds

Workshops run six times a year in Lyon, limited to eight seats. Bookings are payable in advance through Stripe. Cancel more than fourteen days before the date for a full refund, between fourteen and three days for a fifty percent refund or a transfer to the next date, and inside three days for a transfer only, because the produce has already been bought. If we cancel, you are refunded in full within five working days.

Food safety

Recipes assume a domestic kitchen in good order and a cook who is responsible for their own decisions. Cooking temperatures, cure times and shellfish handling notes are written to European guidance, and where a dish involves raw fish, raw egg or a cure, the recipe says so in the ingredient list rather than in a footnote.

Allergen notes are given for the fourteen categories listed in EU Regulation 1169/2011. They describe the recipe as published. Substitutions are your responsibility, and you should read the label of every product you actually buy.

Liability

We publish this material with care and without warranty that it fits a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by French law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Law and jurisdiction

French law applies. The courts of Lyon have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the rights of a consumer to bring proceedings in their country of residence. For consumer disputes you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform before going to court.
